The best time to post on Facebook
The Facebook algorithm is not news and they are constantly tweaking it and this has dramtically affected the organic reach of Facebook business pages.
To maximise the possibility of organic reach it is important to post strategically.
To find out when your Facebook fans are most active online use the Insights feature in your Facebook business page.
On your Facebook page go to Insights > Posts > When Your Fans Are Online.
Find the peak times for your followers and post at those times to increase chances of organic reach of your post.
Ensure you keep an eye on this at least once a month to note any chances and adjust your posting times accordingly.
The best time to post on Twitter
Twitter feeds are extremely fast moving so knowing when your followers are active online increases the chances of them seeing your tweets.
Every second, on average, around 6,000 tweets are tweeted on Twitter, which corresponds to over 350,000 tweets sent per minute, 500 million tweets per day and around 200 billion tweets per year.
